The girl and I are writing this blog for a couple of reasons.

We love fresh, delicious, local foods.

We’ve had trouble in the past with figuring out what to do with what we find at Farmers’ Markets.

In order to motivate ourselves into buying more delicious, fresh, foods and actually using them before they go south, we’ve decided to blog about our Farmers’ Market adventures so that (hopefully) you can benefit from our experiences.

In this blog, we’ll update at least once weekly when we attend the Campbell Farmers’ Market. We’ll get there while the vendors are still setting-up and try to take a stock of what’s available to buy that day and then go grab a cup of coffee. By 10am, we’ll have posted a meal-plan for the week that centers around farm fresh produce that currently available at the Campbell Farmers’ Market. We’ll also try to budget each week, usually between $20-$30, depending on what’s available and how many meals we’ll be planning for. i.e. 5 dinners vs 7 dinners vs 5 dinners and 5 lunches

Throughout the week, we may add other blog posts about changes we make to our meal plans or any additional markets we attend, but make sure you check back every Sunday, shortly after 10am for the most in-depth and beneficial posts.
